Regularly has a "To Let" sign stuck to it, as it has at the moment. The Mitre was converted to a "Vets 4 Pets" around 2006-07 (though it avoided the fate of Newcastle-Under-Lyme's Vaux pub, which became a lapdancing club). Oddly, the Mitre's last landlady was one of my managers where I work.Lizard Seerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07497330695288945161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6059712069593608891.post-10332064295588048312014-05-25T00:37:21.067-07:002014-05-25T00:37:21.067-07:00I remember going in the Moorbrook about twenty yea...I remember going in the Moorbrook about twenty years ago and watching England beat New Zealand at Rugby Union. There were at the time two other GBG-listed pubs nearby - the Unicorn (S&N), which according to Google Street View is still there, and the Mitre (Vaux) which looks as though it's now a Vets' surgery. I thought it was a bit of a trek out from the city centre, though.Curmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02558747878308766840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6059712069593608891.post-88263198075543539712014-05-24T04:01:02.190-07:002014-05-24T04:01:02.190-07:00I was at a beer festival last weekend where Jaipur...I was at a beer festival last weekend where Jaipur was £2.95 a pint., but I'd agree that was exceptional.Neville Grundyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10923209266005338452noreply@blogger.com
